Cultural Dance Experience

Set beneath the open sky at Manning Gorge Campground, this special experience offers guests the opportunity to connect with the traditions of the Kupungarri Community in an authentic and welcoming setting.

The evening begins with a meaningful Welcome to Country by the Ngarinyin people, followed by stories and cultural insights shared by a respected Kupungarri Elder. Guests will enjoy traditional dance performances by the children of the Kupungarri Community, with each dance sharing stories of Country, culture, and generations of knowledge passed down through time.

Located on the banks of the Mount Barnett River and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Kimberley landscape, this is a unique opportunity to experience living culture in an unforgettable setting.

Meeting Point: Manning Gorge Campground – Mt Barnett (at far end of campground)

Camera – photography is generally permitted, however, some performances may be culturally sensitive.  You will be notified accordingly at the time of performance.

Good to Know: Handcrafted Artifacts made by local Kupungarri Residence will be available for Sale at the performances.
